One of us assembled an elaborate costume through various online purchases and spent a week growing a semblance of a goatee; the other put on a polo shirt & sandals and carried around a copy of Hackers and Painters.
Despite this Halloween injustice, here's the picture to prove that the two of us don't spend our entire lives in front of a computer. Steve (as Paul Graham) is the one on the left.

this is the personal blog of Alexis [kn0thing] Ohanian, so I won't clutter our reddit dev blog. I started reddit with Steve Huffman back in June 05 and also happen to be responsible for the site's alien mascot (pictured above).
This blog used to be a glimpse into web 2.0 startup life, but now that we've sold out, it's an assortment of design/startup/geek-related things.

Yes, alas it was not (my facial-hair-growing-skills pale in comparison to yours...). However, I did get to walk around for a week with a nasty quasi-goatee-thing growing on my face. That's the catch with facial hair -- tolerating the early-stage raggedness and constant itching (not to mention the teasing from peers and stares from the elderly).
