It's 4 in the afternoon here and we're still hurting from last night. Those liters of beer are deceptive, but tasty.

Anyway, before we learned the potency of German beer, we navigated through the chaos of the Oktoberfest crowd. They even have rides! Like this vertigo-inducing version of the classic swings amusement park ride.

It was here that Steve confessed something very personal to me:

That was the one ride I never really liked. I always worried about the swings breaking. And then I'd usually think about at which point I'd have the highest chance of survival -- based on my departure angle.

Someone needs to make this into an XKCD comic.

[intelligently] designing the reddit alien evolution

Our original alien was involved with some xenomorphs a while back and unfortunately didn't survive the encounter. We were left with no choice but to evolve a new mascot from a few spare cells we had lying around.

This logo series has run a little over four weeks now, since the alien first applied for U.S. citizenship. I'm off to Oktoberfest on Wednesday, so expect a brief hiatus while I kill a few brain cells and hopefully find some more inspiration at the bottom of my Maß.
